Join us at the Stuttgart Municipal Airport for the 2024 Novice Day - a fun, instructor-led, autocross event for beginner to intermediate-level drivers!
Registration is limited to 24 drivers. Any additional entries will be wait-listed and added to any available spot in the order that they are received.
Entry includes:
- 3+ hours of timed runs and element practice
- Coaching from several local veteran instructors
- Lunch provided
- Weekend membership provided ($20 value)
- $20 coupon towards a future event

No experience required! This event is designed to introduce drivers to the sport of autocross and teach the fundamentals of car control and going fast on an autocross course in a safe environment. If you already have some autocross experience and are looking for intermediate-level instruction with plenty of seat time, this event is for you too.
What is autocross? Autocross one of the most accessible motorsports, and THE most popular motorsport in the country by participation. Drivers negotiate a course marked by cones against the clock with very limited practice. Speeds typically range between 25mph and 60mph.
Event requirements
A car, driver's license, and a helmet. That's it! If you don't have a helmet, a limited number of loaner helmets will be available. Helmets must be SNELL rated SA2010 or later.
All 2024 SCCA Solo rules apply. You're responsible for classing your car and making sure your safety equipment is up to date. See the tech inspection section below for details. If you need help classing your car, you can send a message to our facebook page or select "Unknown" for class.
The technical inspection is for personal safety items such as a SA2010 or newer helmet (SCCA approved helmets) and closed toe shoes. You vehicle will also be checked for safety issues such as the battery must be tied down and secured (No bungee cords), all lug nuts must be present and torqued properly, all loose items removed from the car (including driver floor mat). The tech process will also look at things such as no fluid leaks, brake system and throttle working properly, no structural damage to the car, and ball joints are in good condition.
