This special 2-day event will consist of 2 separate points events (Saturday - PE4, and Sunday - PE5). Both events will run as per standard WOR SCCA autocross rules and formats.
The event will also consist of an OPTIONAL team event that runs through the duration of the weekend. Participation in this team event is not required for season points, and is just for fun (and bragging rights until next year). See details for the team competition below.
- Teams must compete both days to be eligible for the team competition.
- Teams will submit their members and team name at registration on the first day.
- Teams will consist of 3 to 5 individual members.
- Teams may not contain more than 2 cars from the same class (same Pax class is ok, but not same individual class - can't be a team of 5 DS Civic Type Rs, for instance).
- Teams will compete to score the fastest average Pax time for the combination of both days, utilizing one time from each member per day.
- Team member times will be determined by the member themselves: when you pull up to the start line, you will need to "call" your team run, right before you take it, by telling the starter that it is your desired "team run". The starter will then radio to timing and scoring who will log that for tracking.
- Each team member only gets to call one run per day, and those runs will be averaged with the rest of the team for the team time.
- If you forget to call a "team run" before the day's runs are over, your very first run of the day will be counted as your "team run".
- If you DNF on your "team run", your very first run of the day plus a 10 second penalty will be your "team run" time.
- Team competition trophies will be separate from our standard points event trophies.
Western Ohio Region will be providing all competitors at this event a commemorative t-shirt. You will receive your shirt at registration/check in on-site.
